As the mercury rises and the snow melts, the Maluti Mountains morph into an entirely different high-altitude playground.
The peaks, passes and waterfalls are all still there – but now they’re the domain of trail runners, Enduro riders and 4×4 enthusiasts; hikers, fly-fishers and birders. Thanks to an extensive network of interconnected trails, remote, secluded corners of the mountains give up some of their secrets and reveal their ability to challenge, surprise and delight. Enjoy the mountains at your own pace, but don’t pass up the opportunity to see them in a whole new light.
Need a little help up the hill or maximise your time on the trails.
