Afriski implements temporary lockdown

Dear Afriski Family & Friends.

In solidarity with the recent decisive call to action to fight the spread of the virus, and in support of the people and country of Lesotho, our Guests, our Staff and their Families we have decided to follow suit and have implemented a complete lockdown of Afriski.

As Afriski is the permanent home to many of our staff, this means that some staff will spend this lockdown period under the care of the resort. We have introduced very strict access measures limited to the supply of essential goods only, which means that the resort will be completely shut off from any access of any kind, including visits from potential guests, during this time. Extremely careful hygiene measures have also been introduced at the resort.

This is the only way that we are able to guarantee a completely virus free environment in preparation for our upcoming winter season. Absolutely no exceptions will be made during this lockdown period.

We are fully committed to this and we are looking forward to the relief and new-found appreciation for our surroundings once this crisis has been overcome.

Mountain greetings from Afriski Management
